In addition to food, drivers provide a friendly daily check-in to ensure you’re safe and cared for.
San Mateo County Nutrition Programs for Older Adults
Offers both community dining sites and home-delivered meals for seniors who are homebound or unable to prepare their own.

Mobility & Medical Equipment
Medical Equipment Loan Program (MELP)
Provides free, gently-used medical equipment such as walkers, wheelchairs, and shower chairs.
If you need support with mobility or home safety, Trinity can help coordinate a request and ensure equipment is properly fitted.
City of San Mateo Equipment Reuse Program
Recycles donated items—like canes, walkers, and bath benches—and gives them to local residents at no cost.
It’s an excellent option for anyone recovering from surgery or wanting to make their home safer without the expense of new equipment.
Home Safety Services, Inc.
Home Safety Services specializes in fall prevention and home modifications for older adults and individuals with mobility challenges. Their team can install grab bars, stair railings, ramps, handheld showers, and other adaptive equipment that make your home safer and easier to navigate.
For many of our clients, this service has been an important step in remaining independent and confident at home. Trinity can help you schedule an assessment or walk through your home to identify areas that might benefit from added safety support.
Advocacy, Legal & Benefits Support
Legal Aid Society of San Mateo County – Senior Advocates
Provides free legal guidance to adults 60+ on issues like elder abuse, benefits, housing, and consumer rights.
If something doesn’t feel right, or you’re unsure about paperwork, their advocates can help protect your rights and peace of mind.
Veteran Support (U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs)
Older veterans and their spouses may qualify for in-home care benefits, equipment assistance, and special programs that honor their service.
